Overview

Fort Lyne was founded durring the late 15th century in summer of the year 1371, by Raw̋nḱ Cú̄ń̄̋m 'Calvin Flame' Vú̄̄kīsh Séoīsh Ya̋ch Manford. The establishment of Fort Lyne suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Fort Lyne was built using the conventions of Sylvin durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fort Lyne is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Fort Lyne is buildings are speckled and packed arround premissive cobblestone streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the city's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a city. The city sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. The city's timber-based walls are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the city's defences.

A look around Fort Lyne shows Fort Lyne as a den of corruption. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is. The city has another layer to it as well. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Fort Lyne places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual, or at least, faking it.
